The Rotary Club of Alliance invites you to an information session to learn more about rotary international exchange

The Rotary Club of Alliance invites you to an information session to learn more about rotary international exchange –
as a potential host family or as a family with a student interested in studying abroad in the future.

Thursday, February 13 at 6:15 p.m.
Learning Commons, Alliance High School

We are thrilled to invite families to become host homes for international exchange students during the upcoming school year. Hosting a student for three to four months is an incredible opportunity to experience a new culture, create lifelong connections, and share the warmth of your family. As a host family, you’ll provide a welcoming environment that includes room and board, supervise the student as you would your own children, and involve them in daily family life. You’ll enrich their exchange experience by including them in family traditions, community events, and cultural activities, fostering meaningful memories for everyone involved.

While the Alliance Rotary Club does not currently offer outbound exchange for local students, we are eager to explore the interest in re-establishing this opportunity in our community. Your feedback and enthusiasm could pave the way for Alliance students to embark on their own international adventures in the future! If you’d like to share your interest and learn more, join us!

If you are unable to attend but would like to learn more, please reach out to Melissa Gardner, Rotary Club of Alliance’s youth exchange officer, at gardnemf@mountunion.edu, or Ellen Campbell, Rotary Club of Alliance’s youth exchange counselor, at campbeel@mountunion.edu.
